Help with the ballot drive: We have one final hurdle to clear and then we're on the November ballot. We have to collect 20,000 raw petition signatures between May 9th and June 9th . Then we have to submit these signatures to 351 different towns and cities, get them certified, pick up the petitions – and, finally, turn them in to the Secretary of State's Office. Spread the word! Please print copies and distribute this END the Income Tax flyer. Take a stack with you to church, work, your club, a sports event, or a meeting you're attending. Maybe you know a store owner who'd be happy to leave them on display for patrons? You can print it in either color or black and white. It looks fine either way.
When you see a video like this or a news article such as this one, spread the word! Send the link to friends, family, and coworkers; Digg It, post it (and post links to this web site) anywhere and everywhere - blogs, forums, your own web site, and anywhere else you think would help.
Write letters to the editor of your local or city newspaper. Or call a talk radio show and let everyone know we have a choice this fall: END the state income tax and give back an average of $3,600 each to 3,000,000 Massachusetts taxpayers!
Register to vote . Also register to vote your friends, family and co-workers who agree with you on this issue. Do it today! And take advantage of the option of voting absentee. This is a great way to get the support of that friend or relative who can't be depended on to drag themselves to the polls on election day. Just help them fill out the absentee ballot request then mail it in. The absentee ballot will arrive a few weeks before the election. Then keep in touch with them so that when it arrives it gets filled out and mailed back in.
Internet Research: We need a few volunteers to track down and dig up information needed for our essays and proposals. Government and private economic data. Polling data. Massachusetts government tax and budget information. You can do this on your computer. On your own schedule. Want to try your hand at this? Want to see if it's for you?
